I'm Ivan Kosov. I run Half-Hour Chess and this site. This page says what happens to your data. It's short because I collect almost nothing.

What I collect

• Your email address, when you type it into the form yourself.
• Where you came from — a short label such as yt-desc, taken from the link you clicked. It tells me which video or profile sent you. It says nothing about you.
• Whether you open my emails and click the links in them. My email provider records this.
• Page visits, counted without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.

What I do with it

I send you the link you asked for. Then five short emails over five days, then one chess email a week. That is the whole purpose.

I don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. There are no ads on this site.

Who else touches it

• Systeme.io stores my list and sends my messages.
• Cloudflare hosts these pages and counts visits.

Both act on my instructions. When you click a link in my email, a redirect records the click.

How long I keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works in one click.

Your rights

Write to ivan@halfhourchess.com and ask to see your data, correct it, or delete it. I answer in a few days and delete your data when you ask. My postal address appears in the footer of every email I send.

Children

I write this site for adults. Please join only if you are 16 or older.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
